Welcome to the fascinating and fun sport of
outdoor handlaunch glider flying! Expert or novice,
you have chosen a model with an outstanding contest
record and a kit of the very finest materials
available. It is left then only for you to utilize
your best building ski11s while carefully following
the plans and instructions in the assemby of your
Max Flyer to ensure its success.
In some instances I have specified a partic-
ular type produet (i.e. , lacquer) or product brand
(SIG DT. fuse). This is because I have found the
specified product or brand to be the only one
suited for the indicated usage. Substitution may
result in reduced performince or malfunction.

LIST OF MATERIALS TO COMPLETE KIT
( ) 5 Minute epoxy such as Devcon or. Sig.-Hot
Stuff or other cyanoacrylate glue suitable
for Wood. White glue can also be used.
( ) Contact cement such as Weldwood or 3M Spray.
( ) Lacquer Sanding sealer such as Sherman Williams
or clear lacquer and talc mixture-DO NOT USE
DOPE
( ) Sig DT fuse
( ) 2-Straight pins
( ) #8 Rubber band (2 included in parts bag)
( ) Scotch Magic Transparent tape
TOOLS REQUIRED
( ) #11 Xacto knife or single edge razor blade
( ) Sanding blocks with #100-#150 paper, #220-#320
and #400-#600 wet or dry (black) sandpaper
NOTE: Construction sequence and plan is for right
handed launching. If you are left bended,
substitute the Word right each place left
is noted.
